Hi folks! It's Kim from Katydid Cards here with you today! Since I love making Halloween cards I decided to make not one but two to share with you today. Before we get to that, though, I want to remind you to check out Miss Kate's Freebie of the Day.
My first card uses the Halloween Title Set to create the centerpiece for this standing easel card (at least that's what I call it). I made this card before the Monster Mash Digital Paper Collection was available; otherwise, I would definitely have used that as there are so many great patterns from which to choose.
This card base is pretty easy to make with either an e-cutter or die cuts and you can make the "stand up section" in any number of shapes. I have a template on the Hint, Tips & Tutorials page on my blog should you want it. I also share all the construction details of both cards.
Next up is a card using Halloween Tree and Halloween Scene Borders.
On this card, I cut the base short, so the moon extends beyond it.
I'm enjoying making Halloween cards...but soon I get to concentrate on fall and Thanksgiving cards with Christmas on their heels. No time for slacking.
If you make a project of your own with a Miss Kate's file, be sure to share it on our Facebook Galleria so we can all ooh and aah over it. And come and visit the store, Pinterest or Instagram for inspiration and great products.
LOOOOOOOOOOOVE your cards Kim....so darn cute
