Woodland Shadowbox

Hi Everyone - This is Amy (Aimitup) and I'm up on the blog today.
Before I share my project don't forget to check out the Freebie Of the Day.

For today’s project I made a Woodland Shadowbox.

I used the Set of Trees and elements from the Bear in Pool (sun, grass and clouds). I also used the Wood Frame.

The Owl and Cute Frog are print and cuts.

The Fox is paper pieced.

I used a 14x11 frame from Joanns. I added layers of foam core and foam tape to add dimension.
This makes a great baby shower gift. I check out the bedding on the registry and create the shadowbox to match.

I hope you like my project today.

Slice of Summer Shaped Card

Hello everyone! Ginger here from My Sisters Scrapper. Hope everyone had a safe and fabulous 4th! Today I have a fun shaped card to share. Before I show you my card make sure you go and grab the fabulous freebie of the day!

I think I'm kind of hooked on making shaped cards! When I saw the new nested summer shapes two file from Miss Kate that slice of watermelon looked perfect for a shaped card.

Isn't this file cute!! Here's my watermelon slice shaped card.

I didn't use all of the layers, just enough to show the different layers of a slice of watermelon.

I like how it turned out! If you haven't made a shaped card in a while this is a great file to try!

Make sure you check out my blog for more details! Have a great week!
