Hello everyone! It's Kim from Katydid Cards with you today. It' my turn to share my design team project, but first I want to share the link to Miss Kate's Freebie of the Day.
June comes graduations, so I thought I'd get a jump on making a
graduation card with the perfect gift. It's never the wrong size and
it's never the wrong color and I don't need gift receipts...it's cold,
And it comes in this great card made using the Hat's Off Scrapbook Title
on a mat of white. The pieces were cut from black, grays, white and golden yellow. The greeting was
popped with dimensionals.
card base was made using a cut file purchased in the
Silhouette store. I used only the base and none of the embellishments.
I created a sentiment to complement the greeting and used some of the
pieces from the title, converting them to print only. The bottom
section looked too plain, so I added the diploma from the Graduation Day cut file.
There's a notch in the pocket to aid in slipping in the cash or a check.
If you'd like to know more about this card or see additional pictures, please come visit me on my blog

*Turning this small, yellow bag into a pineapple was easy! I found the perfect tutorial on Pinterest! I changed it a bit to fit my needs.
* I altered the pineapple from the Fruit set so that I only used the top green part.
*I used one of the glasses from the Sun & Glasses Set to make my pineapple one cool fruit, lol!
*Using watercolors, I painted the pattern on the pineapple to make the look complete.
I hope you enjoyed my project! I'd love to see some of you try one of
these and share it on the Miss Kate Cuttables Facebook page HERE, or on my Facebook page HERE. TFL, and hope everyone has a chance to craft today :)
For today's project I decided to make a scrapbook page from last summer vacation...
I used to Miss Kate Designs files for this page - Magic Memories Title and Mouse Memories Boy for the Mickey head. I did a print and cut for the title and added a few doodles to the Mickey head for fun.
I hope that you will come back and visit us often for new projects using fabulous Miss Kate Designs files!
This month I created some one of a kind luggage tags for my friend and I for our upcoming vacation. What better way to make our bags stand out than with a Miss Kate file!!
This camera file is super cute and perfect for a scrapbooking tourist like me!!
I created the red and teal for me because those are my fav colors and the pink and purple are Sherry's. I purchased laminating pouches and the clear straps on eBay. And after I pieced them together I ran them through my laminator.
The back includes all of our info typed out in a Cricut font. And I embellished these pretties with rhinestones, stickles, and of course lots of pretty ribbon! We are all set to travel in fashion!
I can't thank you enough for checking out my project. It means the world to me and I hope you truly enjoyed it. May it inspire you to create something wonderful! Scrappy Hugs!
