Easter Egg X Card

Hi folks! It's Kim from Katydid Cards.  I thought I'd get a jump on making Easter cards, so that's what I'm sharing today.

But first, I want to remind you about Miss Kate's Freebie of the Day.  Every day there's a new one for you.

Now to my card; well, cards.  I couldn't decide which color combination I wanted to use for this beautiful Easter Egg cut file, so I used both.  Here they are:

I thought an x-shaped card would be a great way to showcase the egg.  I never made one of these before. Turns out, it was pretty easy.  Here's another view from the top so you can see why it's referred to as an X card.

If you'd like to know more about how this card came together or would like to see additional pictures, just click here and it will take you to my blog.

See you next month with another Miss Kate's project.  It's one of my favorite days of the month.

Guest Designer Sonja Bakonyi

I am honored to be a guest designer for Miss Kate Cuttables again. For my post, I wanted something fun and colorful because well we could use it in these parts of the Northwest. I'm not complaining because the rain could be snow, but I'm looking forward to the fun days of summer!

I decided to make up a mixture of the stage card and the center step card

The roller coaster and ferris wheel are set on a stage that folds flat for shipping.

Tickets are a must have to have fun at a theme park!

As well as the food and candied treats!

It was great to combine a couple files to make one cohesive card!

Fancy Eggs Treat Bags

Hi Everybody!
Jenny from Crazy About Cricut here, and I'm so excited to share another Miss Kate Cuttables project with you!  First I want to make sure you grab the freebie of the day HERE.  Now, onto today's project!
Here is the file I used:

I love to use Miss Kate files to create party favors!  This file gave me a great variety to create for.  Here is how my project turned out:
*With Easter coming up I HAD to make this one!

*My mom has had a lot going on lately, so I thought I'd put a special treat in this one for her as a little pick me up.  And because mom's can never be spoiled enough..........

*I'm going to be ready to put something in this one for Mother's Day!
I hope you enjoyed my project! I'd love to see some of you try one of these and share it on the Miss Kate Cuttables Facebook page HERE, or on my Facebook page HERE. TFL, and hope everyone has a chance to craft today :)

Congratulations on Your New Home

Hello, everyone!

Thank you for visiting today for my project!  Before I share it I want to remind you to pop over and grab your Freebie of the Day

Here is my card for today...

I needed a card for a house warming and QUICK!  That's one of the things I love about Miss Kate Designs - you can use them as a die cut AND a printable.  This card went together in about 10 minutes and I love it.  I actually used 2 MKD files - Cute House and For Sale Sign. I used Photoshop to merge them together, added my sentiment on top and printed.  A couple of cardstock layers and Voila, a card just in time for the party! :D

I hope you enjoyed my project for today and that you will stop by often to see the project from our wonderful DT!

Guest Designer Roberta Stevenson

Surprise! I'm a guest designer for Miss Kate Cuttables again this year! Miss Kate Cuttables offers awesome freebie designs everyday and I always look forward to them. I also love their designs and their new paper is great too! I just had to have it as it goes so well with their designs! I LOVE Christmas and make over 55 cards every year to give to family and friends. I thought why not start early this year and so I made a Christmas themed card for my guest spot. Using my Cricut Explore and Cricut Design Space I uploaded Miss Kate Cuttables "boy-winter-deer-1016". I thought he was sooo cute! Added some Ranger Glossy Accents to his nose and eyes. Wink of Stella - GL Green 040 was used on the ear  muffs.

Here is a close-up of the little reindeer.

Also, uploaded one of my all time favorite trees from Miss Kate Cuttables - snowy-tree-10-07-15. I've used this tree on so many of my cards. Added some glitter with Spectrum Noir Clear Glitter Pen. The background paper is from Miss Kate Cuttables - "mkd-winter-woodland-paper-collection" - winter woodland reindeer.jpg .

Printed out the digital image on my HP Printer and then sized it to 6" x 6" and edge around the sides with Tim Holtz Distress Inks - Peeled Paint. Behind the reindeer the paper is from American Crafts - Holiday collection - 6 x 6" (15.2 cm x 15.2 cm). Used My Creative Time -Stitched Squares Inside and Out to cut out the square and then edged around the sides of the small square with Tim Holtz Distress Inks - Peacock Feathers

The hills were made with Recollections - Christmas Inkjet Printable Glitter Paper - 8.5" x 11" and Lawn Fawn - Lawn Cut dies. Then used Tim Holtz Distress Inks - Tumbled Glass along the tops of the hills. "Merry Christmas" ribbon is by Celebrate It!

Miss Kate Cuttables, thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of your guest design team again this year. It truly is a great honor and it made me so happy!

Regards, Roberta Stevenson

Leprechaun Legs Card

Top of the Mornin'
to you all
It is my turn for my design team share.

First grab you daily freebie
and come back to Miss Kate Cuttables
everyday for you freebie

With names in my family
like Hannigan,Hogan,Fagan
you can safely say this is one of my favorite
days to say the least.
My home is decked out in green and shamrocks
and I do send cards to family on this day as well.

This card will go to one lucky family member.

It's a simple shape card made with pieces of several files

for this card I used the following files

I just trimed the sides of the shoes to take that little flair off and
cute the round part for the bells off

The buckle on the shoe came from this file

Just enlarged it to the size i needed it

The cloverS
i used are from this set

and the LUCKY word from this set

I then used some ink to ink the edges
white gel pen to make some dots
and spectrum noir glitter makers for "bling"
