Happy Birthday, Dear

Happy Friday!  Shellye here with a masculine birthday card that I actually made for my husband; he turned 46 on Wednesday and loves to hunt!  But first, don't forget to check out the

For my card, I've used the Set of 3 Deer
and papers from Simple Stories' "Take A Hike" Collection.

The kraft scallop cut-out is also from Simple Stories;  I embossed it with a
woodgrain embossing folder before layering on the deer die-cut and
chipboard clouds.  I love how the deer silhouette turned out!  Such a nice
touch for a masculine card.

That's all from me today!  You can see more of my work by visiting my blog...

"You're the Man!"

Hello my crafty friends! Today is my day to post on the Miss Kate Cuttables blog, and I'm so happy to share my card with you! But first, don't forget to go by and pick up the Freebie of the Day from Miss Kate Cuttables!

For my card I used Miss Kate Cuttables "Super Hero Boy".

I think he's so cute, and I used drag and drop to take him in the png format, to the virtual mat in my Silhouette Cameo. Then I sized him, traced around him, and printed him with my printer. I then loaded the print on to my mat, and used the Cameo to cut him out. I've got him popped up on foam tape for added dimension. I used my Wink of Stella pen to add some glitter and shine to the star on his shirt, as well as the red stars on the card front. Here's my finished card!

You'll find the measurements and supplies I used for this card on my blog, Cardz TV.

Love it! Remember, today's free file is only free for today...

For my project today, I created this beachy, girly layout:

I took a girls' trip with my friends a few years ago, and I love finally scrapbooking the photos. Makes me want to go back to the beach!

I used these Miss Kate Cuttables cut files:

So many fun, beachy, tropical possibilities! I love how they all came together...

I used lots of papers from my stash for this layout, including some very old Rusty Pickle paper that I have been hoarding forever. :) I inked everything with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Frayed Burlap -- and I added in those awesome Royal Jewels again for that bit of shine.

Paint Chip silhouette Card

Hey Everyone
Thanks for stopping by
Miss Kate Cuttables blog today
Before we get started don't forget
to drop by
MKC
and get you daily freebie and
Deal Of the Day

Today I would like to share with you
a card I made
I found this on
Pinterest

and thought
it would be fun easy
and a
great card to give no matter
what the theme or occasion.

I went to Walmart and got
I think one of every color
paint chips I could
but anywhere that sells
paint has them.
The card blank is one I bought at Jo-Ann in the
dollar section.
Best thing is the colors are all done for you.I then took
MKC files

I cut them just out of
plain white card stock

Took a glitter pink gel Pen
and high lighted the petals, inked the edges for more detail.
Stamped on a sentiment
and there you have it

a sweet card done in just minutes!!
