Spring Love Note

Hello! Britt Bass from Pink Paper Crowns here to share a simple little note card I made using some files I recently found in the Miss Kate Cuttables store!

But, FIRST, let us address the subject of todays FREEBIE of the day:

Hopefully you got yesterday's Pretty Bug because this Boy Bug goes perfect with her!

This week I came across two things: a file set that I wanted to use and the desire to make something non-Easter themed, but still spring-y.

I decided that I wanted my card to look like the top of a wrapped package with a tag hanging from it - in order to use the Tags and Backgrounds file set.

I wanted to give it a spring feel, without using Easter themes, so I choose a small, bright plaid pattern for my background and then used brightly colored coordinating cardstock and ribbon.

Since I was going with the "Love Notes" sentiment I decided to used one other Miss Kate file called Assorted Hearts to add a little heart in the middle of my tag - I love that it left room for a little heart bling!

Hippity Hoppity!

Hello, everyone!  Shellye here today with my first post for
MISS KATE CUTTABLES
I'm so excited to be sharing with you today!
But first, don't forget to stop by and pick up the

My project is one that I made in conjunction with Doodlebug Designs' new "Springtime" Collection
and a very inexpensive wooden fence that I bought at Hobby Lobby.

I used the title and the grass from the Hippity Hoppity cutting file and then further embellished with stickers from the Springtime Collection.

Lastly, I strung through some pretty pink ribbon to create a hanger.
I'm lovin' the happiness that it's bringing to my kitchen during these cold, cool and cloudy days of Spring!

Thanks for joining me today at Miss Kate Cuttables!  I would love it if you'd visit my blog www.shellyemcdaniel.com
I'm enjoying using MKC for all sorts of papercrafting projects, so be sure to drop by to see more :)
Have a great day!

"Have an EGGS-tra Special Easter!"

Hello my crafty friends! Today is my day to post on the Miss Kate Cuttables blog, and I'm so happy to share my card with you! But first, don't forget to go by and pick up the Freebie of the Day from Miss Kate Cuttables!

Easter will be here soon, so for today's card, I chose this cute little "Hatching Chicken" from Miss Kate Cuttables...isn't he cute, popping out of his shell! To get your "Hatching Chicken" click HERE!

I used the Miss Kate Cuttables PDF file to print and then cut my little chicken, using the Silhouette Cameo print and cut feature. I cut and layered the chicken 5 times, to make it thick and chunky, like a chipboard sticker, then popped it up on some foam tape for added dimension.

For the cut sizes and supplies list for this card, please visit my blog, Cardz TV!

Thanks for Making Me One Smart Cookie!

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Remember to stop by and grab your Miss Kate Cuttables Freebie of the Day!

For this weeks project I made a quick teacher's gift...

Here is the back of the tag...

I use Miss Kate Cuttables Milk & Cookie file to make my darling little cookie - I removed the face cuts so I could use my PKS Sweet on You stamp for her face.  I cut a layered tag shape and used Fliskars Apron Lace border punch on the bottom.  I stamped the bottom of the inside layer with a sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Teachers stamp set and embossed the top portion with Darice's chevron embossing folder.

I hope you enjoyed my project for today!

Reach for the Stars

Happy Saturday Miss Kate Cuttables Fans!

Kendra here, from Luv 2 Scrap N' Make Cards, to share a fun layout with you!

First off make sure to head over to the Miss Kate Cuttables store to download the Freebie of the Day!

--------------------------

I used the Reach For the Stars for my main title:

I decided to cut out the large "reach" on brown paper and use the negative portion, so that I could let the star paper show through!

And then here is a close-up of the rest of the title:

The red shape behind the photo is the Nested Label file.
(Love the nested shapes!!)

I added the stars from Reach For The Stars to the Nested Label.
I liked them rounded around the Nested Label.  The added rhinestones, I think, add a nice touch.

A look at the SVG file used:
