Happy Birthday to you, Sir!

This is my final post as a MKC DT - I am so sad to leave such a wonderful team.  It as been a wonderful year and I know that the new DT
will do a fabulous job!

Here is my last project -

I used 2 files for this card - Mustache Mania and My First Glasses.  I embossed the white layer and added a SMS sentiment to finish the card.  I love how easy it was, and I always need masculine cards!

For more info please visit my blog

I am so thankful to have been part of such a fabulous team. I hope you have enjoyed my projects and that you will come back everyday to see projects for the 2015 MKC Design Team!

Hello everyone! I'm here today for my very last post as a member of the always-fabulous Miss Kate Cuttables design team! I'm sad to be leaving the team, but I know that soon we will have more posts from our brand new design team -- I'm excited to see what things they come up with!

Before we get to my final project, be sure you've grabbed today's freebie from Miss Kate Cuttables!

Awesome, as always!

And now for my final project -- a Christmas card! I was able to give this card to a very special someone...

Christmas Word Tree Card by Lissa for Miss Kate Cuttables

I love how it turned out! I used this cut file from Miss Kate Cuttables:

Christmas Word Tree by Miss Kate Cuttables

I used the print and cut feature on my Silhouette Cameo to create the word part of the tree, then I cut the rest of the layers out individually to layer behind. I then layered together my patterned papers, sprayed then with a bit of Studio Calico Shine Spray Mist, and added yellow pearl puffy paint to the star for a fun look.

Calendar Gift

Hi Everybody!
Jenny from Crazy About Cricut here, and I'm super excited to share another Miss Kate Cuttables project with you!  First, I want to make sure you grab the freebie of the day:

Ok, this one just screams vinyl to me!  Oooo, it would also make an awesome gift tag....so many possibilities!!  Ok, onto my project for today!  Here are the details:

From Miss Kate Cuttables I used:

*Reindeer (on sale until 12/28!)

*Girl Reindeer (on sale until 12/28!)

*Happy Holidays Title (on sale until 12/28!)

I wanted to say a little something about how and why I created this project.  Every year for the holidays, I make our entire family calendars.  It's especially appreciated by our extended family that we don't get to see very often.  This year, the holidays seemed to creep up on me faster than ever!  Since we have a strict Christmas budget, I had to get the calendars done.

So I sat down with my My Memories Suite scrapbooking program, pictures, and my Miss Kate Cuttables PNG files!  Since they have a clear background, they are the perfect embellishment for digital scrapbooking!  I was able to complete the ENTIRE calendar, get 10 of them printed, and bound in 3 days!!!  Since I needed so many I used a professional printer to print and bind.  But if you still need a last minute gift, you could totally create and print this on your home computer!

Here are a couple of the months.  This first page is the one I created for December:

*Adding the title, deer, and snowman made
this a cute, but quick page!

For this next page I used these Miss Kate Cuttables files:

*This is the page I created for March:

*We had an amazing vacation in Las Vegas, so I createdthis fun page to show some highlights.
*Adding some quick details to the pictures helps personalize the calendar.

I hope you enjoyed my project!  I'd love to see some of you try some digital crafting and share it on the Miss Kate Cuttables Facebook page HERE, or on my Facebook page HERE.  TFL, and hope everyone has a chance to craft today :)

I Believe in Santa!

Hello and happy Wednesday! Thank you so much for joining me for my project this week. :)

Remember to stop by and get your Freebie of the Day!

I am so excited to show you my project...

I have had a glass block in my garage for over 3 years and I finally decided to make something with it.  For those of you that don't have a block just laying around you can get them at most Hobby Stores.  I actually picked up a couple more to make gifts at Hobby Lobby - they have there glass products on sale for 50% off.  I got the lights inside at our local Dollar Tree (yes, for a Dollar).  The ribbon is from Joanns and was 60% off.   I used frosting spray on the front - you can get this at most hobby stores also, including Hobby Lobby.

I used MKC adorable I Believe in Santa file to cut my vinyl - it's on sale through December 28th.  I used Red, white, black and yellow.  It's hard to see the white in the photo but it's on the Santa hat.  :)

I hope that you enjoyed my project - be sure to check back daily for more projects for the MKC Design Team!

http://www.misskatecuttables.com/products/freebie-of-the-day/
 What a great Christmas treat!

And now for my card for today:

Comfort & Joy card by Lissa for Miss Kate Cuttables

I love how it turned out! To create it, I used lots of patterned and solid paper scraps from my stash, along with these cut files from Miss Kate Cuttables:

Christmas Flourishes by Miss Kate Cuttables

What a fun combo! I used the print and cut feature on my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the sentiment, then layered up my patterned papers by cutting them out with my Kiwi Lane Designer Templates. I inked up all the edges in red or green, and then added just a bit of bling with red and green glitter glue. Love it!
