Digital Summer Layout

Hi Everybody!
Jenny from Crazy About Cricut here, and I'm excited to share another Miss Kate Cuttables project with you!   First, I want to make sure you grab the freebie of the day:

Don't forget to head on over to Miss Kate Cuttables to download it for free TODAY ONLY!

And now, onto my project!  There are so many things you can do with the images and files from Miss Kate Cuttables.  There are actually a few different types you get with each file.  If you've never noticed, once you click on the image of the file, the different types are explained nice and clearly under each image:

YOU WILL RECEIVE IMAGES IN THESE FORMATS:
SVG files (for cutting machines)
JPG files (with white backgrounds)
PNG files (with transparent backgrounds)

The SVG files we all know and love for cutting out on our die cut machines.  The JPG files are such high resolution, they are perfect to print out for the front of a card, pocket style scrapbooking, and home decor.  The PNG files are what I used on my project for today.  Since they have a clear background, they are the perfect embellishment for digital scrapbooking!
Every year for the holidays, I make our entire family calendars.  It's especially appreciated by our extended family that we don't get to see very often.  Here are a couple of the months.  This first page is the one I created for July.  We have so much fun on our summer adventures!

The MKC files used on this page are:

This next page is for the month of June for Father's Day.
The MKC file used on this page are:
*World's Best Dad (Title, arrows, and stars.)

I hope you enjoyed my project!  Digital scrapbooking is so easy to do.  Head on over to my blog if you'd like more info on the scrapbooking program I used.

I'd love to see some of you try some digital crafting and share it on the Miss Kate Cuttables Facebook page HERE, or on my Facebook page HERE.  TFL, and hope everyone has a chance to craft today :)

  2. Great job on your layouts. I was looking all over for the burst...now I know where it is. I have not tried digi scrapping yet. May be easier than I thought and will check out the blog.
