Happy Birthday Card

Hello everyone! Lissa here, and I'm excited to share a card I created with some adorable Miss Kate Cuttables print and cut files. But before we get to that, be sure to grab the free file of the day:

So cute -- how great it is that Miss Kate gives us a new free file every single day? I think it's amazing. Be sure to grab it today because it's only free for one day.

And now for my card. It's been awhile since I've created a card for this blog, and since this month is my twin boys' birthday (they're turning 11 soon!), I thought I would do a bunch of birthday projects for July.

Just super cute! I used these files from Miss Kate Cuttables:

I turned each file into a print and cut, then added a background mat for the boy to help him stand out from my card. I used the Surprise! collection from Bo-Bunny to create my card, layering the various patterns in the background. I then used foam tape to pop the Miss Kate cut files up from the card. Finally, I added glitter glue to give the whole thing a bit of sparkle. Super fast and super cute!

I love it! And it's great to have a birthday card on hand for the next time I need one...

Thank you for stopping by today. Be sure to visit Miss Kate on Facebook too! And I would love for you to visit me at MightyCrafty -- I have lots of fun projects to share each week. Until next time...

Stay crafty!
Lissa :)
