Today's project is a scrapbook layout.  I've been playing around with digital scrapbooking lately and getting very frustrated but I'm pretty happy with how this layout came out.  I used several files from the store, the first one being the Fall Days Paper Collection.

Next I used the Autumn Days Title

and last but not least I used the Oak Leaves

Happy Fall

Hello, everyone!  It's Kim from Katydid Cards.  Today I'm working with this adorable Autumn Crow cut file.  Such a cute way to wish someone a Happy Fall, with a cute little sentiment inside.

I'm eager to show you my card, but first things first!  Don't forget to get your Miss Kate’s freebie of the week.

And here's my card:

I used Stampin' Up's card stock; Peach Parfait, Pumpkin Pie, and Tangelo Twist for the pumpkin.  For the leaves, a bit of Lucky Limeade which I also used for the base. Finally, the crow was made using Basic Black, Basic Gray, Daffodil Delight and So Saffron.  The sentiment inside was printed on Whisper White.  As with all Miss Kate's files, there are lots of luscious layers here; so I didn't have to do anything to add dimension.

Finishing touches include sponging the edges of the pumpkin, coating the beak with Wink of Stella and a few accents on the wings, tail, and eyes with Nuvo Drops.  Everything was placed on a rounded rectangle filled with a digital patterned paper

This cut file originally had two additional pumpkins, but I wanted to create a 3 1/2" x 6" card, so I eliminated them.  It creates an entirely new look!

Here's a close-up so you can see some of the detail in the file:

Inside, I printed the sentiment in brown on a more transparent version of the plaid using the Mister Sirloin BTN Rare font.  Here's what that looks like:

Fall & Halloween Signs

It's Amy here on the blog today. 

Halloween is right around the corner! I created some fun Fall and Halloween Signs using Miss Kate Cuttables files.

The first sign uses the bottom two lines from Ghost & Goblins Phrase.

The second sign uses the bottom portion of the
Autumn Word Art.

Guest Designer Christi Steinbeck

Hello Scrapping for Tranquility Fans!  I have the honor of being Miss Kate Cuttable's Guest Designer  this month so I have a fun , fall card to share with you!

I am going to hop right to it!  The files I used from Miss Kate's is Autumn Tree, Fall Memories and Raking Leaves.  This is what I came up with :

 I made a triangle tri-fold card.  If you never heard of it you will see here in a second how it works.  I used the raking leaves file on the front triangle along with half of the Autumn tree file.  I cut the Autumn Tree in half using the Sure cuts 4 program on my cameo.  

Here is the front first fold with the title using the file Fall Memories.  

Then folding down it opens to a double card where I put the Autumn Tree and added a tire swing from my cutting file stash , A Perfect Day To Play, also from Miss Kate's Cuttable's. If you click on the picture you can read the beautiful fall poem I found on the internet and then made it into a  Thankful for you card.

Fall Fun Shaped Card

Hello everyone, Ginger here from My Sisters Scrapper. Today I have a shaped card to share with you but before I do make sure you go and grab the freebie of the day!

Fall is in the air so I decided to use one of the title files to create a shaped card. I really like making shaped cards using the super cute title files that Miss Kate has. Here is the file I used called Fall Fun.

I used all of the layers except three of the larger leaves that surround the outside of the title.

This is some homemade Strawberry Jam my husband and I made earlier this year. It's yummy. :)

I simplified the cuts reducing layers and did not use the leaf stems.

For a little 3x3 card and small canning jar like this, I thought it looked better without all the details on the cuts. That's a great thing about Miss Kate Cuttables files - you can use all the layers and details, or simplify them and they still have a wonderful affect for your projects.

Thankful Card

Hello everyone! I have a card project to share with you all today, perfect for the fall season. But before we get to that, I just want to make sure you've picked up today's freebie!

I just love that we get a freebie from the fabulous Miss Kate Cuttables to look forward to each day!

And now for my card for today:

So pretty! To create it, I used lots of patterned and solid paper scraps from my stash, along with these cut files from Miss Kate Cuttables:

After I cut all the pieces out with my Silhouette Cameo, inked all the edges, and adhered everything down, I added in the dimensional flower and then spritzed everything with Mr. Huey's Color Mist in Shine by Studio Calico. I love how it turned out!
