Guest Designer- Kim Ferguson

Hi Paper Crafters,

It is with pleasure that I post today as a guest design team member for Miss Kate Cuttables. This is my second year to be selected to share a project using the following images: "On the Road Again," "License to Drive," and the "Car" cut files.

The images have all been edge distressed with inks, and some are layered and lifted with pop dot adhesives. I chose to duplicate the mountain scene to be able to cover the length of the two pages. For the cars, I duplicated and flipped the image. As for the title, I was not successful in cutting the word "the," I improvised by using stickers from my stash.

Thank you for visiting today and checking out my layout. I hope you enjoyed my design.

Happy Paper Crafting, Kim :-) Thank you Miss Kate Cuttables for welcoming back as a guest design team member in 2018.

Picnic Time

It's Kim from Katydid Cards with you today!

We're right in the thick of picnic time weather, so I thought I'd share a cute invitation with you today.  But first I want to remind you to pick up your Miss Kate's Freebie of the Day.

To make this invitation, I combined components from both the Picnic Time Title and Picnic Fun.  Who wouldn't want to go to a picnic if they received an invitation this cute...even the ants have arrived!

Here's a closer look at the picnic basket.  I love all those layers in the cut files!  I added a bit of Wink of Stella to the grapes and watermelon.

Inside I added a panel with all the particulars of the picnic.  With a different insert, I would work nicely as a thank you.

Thanks for stopping by for a visit.   I hope you have fun picnic plans in your near future!

Christmas in July Snow Globe Card

Hi!! Jenny from Jen's Crafty Place here. Today I have a Christmas in July project! It is never too early to start your Christmas card stash!

Before we start, don't forget to get your Freebie over at Miss Kate Cuttables.

I chose this cutie to do my card with. There are many snow globe images at Miss Kate Cuttables so choose one you like. Then cut out your design. I used my Cameo 3. I arranged my pieces on one mat to reduce the cutting time.

I took the main image of the snow globe and copied it and then welded it together to make the card base you see on the left.

I assembled the snowman and globe and glued it to the card base and I was done! It is an easy card to produce many for your Christmas card needs. The only thing I added was some glitter pen to the body to make it more "snow like". I also put a few orange lines on the nose for the carrot. Other then that, it is just cut, glue and you are done!

I hope you try making some snow globe cards for your Christmas card sending! They are quick and ADORABLE!! There will be a smile on the recipients face for sure!

Don't forget to check out more ideas on my blog, Jen's Crafty Place and sign up for my newsletter!

Unicorn Birthday Banner

Hello Everyone!  Its Rebecca from Rebecca Ann Designs

Did you know that Miss Kate Cuttables gives away a FREE file everyday?

Click here to get your FREE file

This month I made a Unicorn Birthday Banner for a little girl.
You can find the unicorn file HERE

It was so fun to make because I only have a boy and I love to use pink and purples

I had a mother request this banner for her 3 year old,
and if you remember my dragon banner from last month, it was her twin brothers banner!

 I used Pink, Purple, Blue, and White for this banner and I added some Gold Glitter Cardstock and ribbon for some sparkle!

Happy Craftin'

Rebecca

Guest Designer- Martha Lucia

Hi everyone, Martha Lucia from Stampartpapel here.

Miss Kate Cuttables SVG Files: Flowers & Christmas are the projects that I prepared for you. I am so happy because today is my day to post on Miss Kate Cuttables Blog!!! This is the third year that I have had this opportunity and honor and I love to share with you. Miss Katte Cuttables has an excelent promotion in their store everyday. It is free and wonderful! So, I want to make sure you go grab the FREEBIE of the day! As a designer I had the opportunity to choose the SVG that I want to use, which was hard work because playing with the Miss Kate Cuttables SVG Files is a real pleasure. So I decided to make two different projects, one for summer and one for Christmas in July, Miss Kate Cuttables SVG Files: Flowers & Christmas!!!To make this card I used the Hibiscus SVG File. I cut in my Cricut Explore all the layers in Very Vanilla Cardstock and colored each piece with Studio 71 Alcohol Markers and then assembled all the pieces.I made the base of the card using Sahara Sand card stock and created a die cut frame and sentiment with Whisper White cardstock and the Greetings Frame Confetti Cuts from Reverse Confetti.My second card is honoring Christmas in July and this Dear Santa Title SVG file is the best to start thinking on Christmas! With it, I made a Christmas card for someone very special!!!
  I made this by combining traditional Christmas colors. All the pieces were cut on cardstock of different colors and pasted over Old Olive card base.I hope you enjoyed my projects! I’d love to see some of you try one of these and share it on the Miss Kate Cuttables Facebook page HERE. See you soon! Martha Lucia

Who's a good boy?

Hi everyone, it's Sherri with today's post.

Don't forget your freebie from yesterday, you can get it Here!.  The freebie posted on Friday's stay all weekend!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today I made a one page layout for my doggie.  I used the pre-made die cuts from Miss Kate Cuttables which unfortunately you can't get anymore, but you can download the files from the store to manipulate for yourself.  Here is the file I used for my title ~
Here's my doggie layout ~
Sorry for the glare on the picture, the paper is slick and no matter which way I tried to shoot it it either got too dark or too bright <arrrgghhh>
Thanks for stopping by today.  I'd love it if you'd stop on over to my blog at The Squeaky Scrapper and say hello.
