For today's project I wanted to bring some inspiration to the blog that we don't see here very often!

Most of my fellow DT members are traditional scrapbookers and paper crafters -and they are AWESOME, don't get me wrong! But, there are plenty of DIGI crafters out there who might be missing out on the awesomeness of Miss Kate's images used for digital projects!  Hopefully, if you're a digi fan, this will help you kick your mojo up a notch!

I was inspired by the colors in the photos (which is not where I usually get my inspiration).  I decided that her little blue swimsuit and her little pink float were just too cute not to parrot.  Honestly, Miss Kate does such a good job coloring the PNG images that I used many of the files as-is!  The one change I made to the title and the banners is to replace the red color with a pink to match the rest of my color scheme!

We could use some more inspiration for the digi crafters on the MKC Galleria! If you are so inclined, you can post your creations on the group: HERE

And, here are the files I used for this layout:

Wave Borders SVG cut files beach svg cut files ocean svg cut files free svgs

Swag Banners SVG cut files for scrapbooking swag banners svg files free svgs free svg cuts

Tags and Backgrounds SVG cut files for scrapbooking tags svg files background svg files

Whew! That was a LOT of files - but the awesome thing about all of these is that you get the .png, .jpeg, and the.svg! You can cut them with an electronic die cutting machine, print and cut them, or just use them in your digi projects! I love how versatile all those files types are!

Thanks for stopping by today!!!

Forrest Owl Wall Hanging

Happy Friday, everyone!
Shellye here today with a precious wall hanging
that I created for our camper :)
But first, don't forget about the FREEBIE of the DAY!

For the hanging, I paired the cute Forrest Owl cutting file with brand new
patterned papers (and sentiment sticker) by Authentique Paper.
I think this adorable hanger just goes to prove that you can put a cutesy
die-cut with any type of paper/collection!

I cut the owl's body from a combination of Core'dinations cardstock
and a dot paper by Authentique Paper (Seasons: Autumn Collection).
The tree branch was cut from a woodgrain pattern that can be found in the
same "Adventure" Collection.

And if you know my stuff, then you know I love using enamel dots :)
In place of the small circle die-cut, I used two dark brown dots by Doodlebug Design.
I layered the little guy onto a scroll die-cut with foam adhesive.
The ribbon for the hanger is by May Arts Ribbon.

I use Miss Kate Cuttables for a lot of various Design Team projects, so
please stop by my blog sometime and see what all I have goin' on!
Thanks for visiting us today!

To BEE or not to BEE!

Hello my crafty friends! Today is my day to post on the Miss Kate Cuttables blog, and I'm so happy to share my card with you! But first, don't forget to go by and pick up the Freebie of the Day from Miss Kate Cuttables!

I used Miss Kate Cuttables "Beehive" SVG file, and the Cricut Explore for today's card.

As you can see, the MKC file comes with 3 cute bees, but I used just one, and sized it a bit bigger. This was so much fun to make, and so easy to piece together!

For the cut sizes, and supplies I used for this card, please visit my blog, Cardz TV.

Be sure to check the Miss Kate Cuttables blog daily, for more inspiration from the MKC Design Team!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

That Hurt!

Good morning, everyone! I'm so happy to be here today to share a fun layout I created with some adorable Miss Kate Cuttables cut files. I had so much fun making it. But before we get to that, be sure to grab the free file of the day:

Love! As always! Remember, today's free file is only free for today, so go grab it now...

For my project today, I created this fun layout:

That Hurt for Miss Kate Cuttables by Lissa Mitchell

One of my twin boys broke his collarbone while skiing a few years back and these photos have been in my to-scrapbook pile for awhile. I found these perfect cut files from Miss Kate Cuttables, so I decided to finally get this layout completed and into his album.

I cut out all my pieces and put everything together -- then I inked all the edges with Distress Ink in Frayed Burlap. Finally, I put the layout together using papers from the Little Boy collection by Echo Park and my Kiwi Lane Sunnybrook Lane templates.
